Yinnian He

Yinnian He is a Professor of Mathematics, born in Xi'an, China (July 28, 1953). He received a B.S. degree in mathematics from Shaanxi Normal University in China in 1982; M.S. degree in mathematics from Xi'an Jiaotong University in China in 1985; Ph.D degree in fluid mechanics from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China in 1992. His postdoctoral experience include being with Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands (February 1997 to March 1998). He visited the University of Alberta, Canada (April 2000 to July 2000); City University of Hong Kong, Baptist University, Hong Kong (2001, 2004, 2005, 2006); Indiana University, Ind, USA (2002); The University of Tennessee, Tenn, USA(2003); The University of Kansas, Kan, USA (2008). He is an Advisory Editor of the Journal of Numerical Methods and Computer Applications, the Chinese Journal of Computational Physics, and Numer Math: A Jounal of Chinese Universities. He is currently with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of science, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China.
