Zohreh Rahimi is the Professor of clinical biochemistry at the Clinical Biochemistry Department, the Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, Kermanshah, Iran. Rahimi received her Ph.D. degree in clinical biochemistry from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Fars, Iran, where she studied the molecular genetics and hematological characteristics of hemoglobinopathies. She completed her Ph.D. thesis in U763, INSERM, University of Paris 7, Paris, France. She received the title of the First Professor Woman from Kermanshah province in 2012. Her research interests include the molecular genetics of hemoglobinopathies, preeclampsia, diabetes, and cancers.
