Dr. Ruxana Sadikot is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and the Director of Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Jesse Brown VA Hospital in Chicago. She is also an adjunct faculty with the department of Physiology and Biophysics at UIC. Dr. Sadikot’s research program is funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs which comprises studies related to NF-?B signaling pathway and role of Cyclo-oxygaenase in host defense and lung inflammation. In particular Dr. Sadikot has an interest in understanding the crosstalk between TLR, TREM signaling and the role of lipid mediators particularly that of PGD2 in innate immune response. Dr. Sadikot is on the editorial board of Pulmonary and Respiratory Medicine.
