Motoi Machida

Motoi Machida serves as a Professor at the Division of Environmental Safety, Safety and Health Organization at Chiba University, Chiba, Japan, and concurrently at Department of Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology, School of Engineering at Chiba University, Japan. He received a B.S. degree in 1983 and an M.S. degree in 1985 in chemistry from Hokkaido University, Hokkaido, Japan, and a Ph.D. degree in 1998 in molecular chemistry from Hokkaido University at Sapporo, Japan. He obtained a national qualification of Professional Engineer Japan (P.E.Jp) in chemistry in 2000 stipulated by the Professional Engineer Law in Japan. His main research fields are water environment and adsorptive removal of pollutants from aqueous solutions.
