Victor A. Jebara

Victor A. Jebara was born in Lebanon in 1958. He received his M.D. degree from the Universite Saint Joseph in Beirut. He was trained under Professor Alain Carpentier in Paris at Hopital Broussais. In 1993, he cofounded the department of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the Hotel Dieu de France university hospital of the university Saint Joseph. Jebara's surgical activities cover most of the adult cardiovascular surgery including CABG, valve repair and replacement, and aortic surgery. Doctor Jebara is Founder and Direct of the Animal Experimental Laboratory at the School of Medicine of the Universite Saint Joseph. He is a Full Professor of surgery and Chief of the department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. In 2009, he was elected member of the AATS (American Association of Thoracic Surgery).
