Laurent Lemée has received his Ph.D. degree from the Bordeaux University during the period of 1993 and his accreditation to supervise research in Poitiers University in 2004. Currently, he has been working as a Research Engineer at the Poitiers University. He is considered as a Mass Specialist and he is the Leader of the group Organic Geochemistry. He has authored 27 research articles and supervised 6 Ph.D. studies. As administrative responsibilities, he is the Person in Charge of the building of the Chemistry Department. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of bioremediation & biodegradation. He is a Reviewer of several reputed journals like Biodegradation, Bioresource Technology, Ecological Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Management Journal, International Journal of Biological and Chemical Sciences, Journal of Environmental Management, Organic Geochemistry, and Waste Management.
