Louis M. Lin

Louis M. Lin was born in Taiwan in 1939. He received the B.D.S. degree from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan, in 1964 and the D.M.D. degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey, NJ, USA, in 1776. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in pathology from University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Okla, USA, in 1972. He completed his oral surgery training at Tokyo University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan, in 1968, and his oral pathology residency at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Louisiana, USA, in 1974, and Postgraduate Program in Endodontics at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Conn, USA, in 1979. He has been serving as a Chair and as a Postgraduate Program Direct at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and University of California at Los Angeles, USA. He serves now as a Professor of advanced education in endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, USA. His areas of interests include periapical pathology (cysts), stem cells and periapical wound healing, guided tissue regeneration in periapical surgery, bone pathobiology, and revascularization. He acts as a Reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals and as an Editorial Board Member of several journals.
