Marc A. Passman
Marc A. Passman received his A.B. degree at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Me, USA, in 1987, and his M.D. degree at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt, USA, in 1991. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, from July 1991 to June 1997, and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, from July 1997 to June 1999. From 1999 to 2006, Dr. Passman was an Assistant Professor of surgery with the Division of Vascular Surgery, Department of Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville. Since 2006, Dr. Passman is an Associate Professor of surgery at the Section of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Department of Surgery, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham. He has current appointments as an Attending Surgeon at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital at the Birmingham Veterans Administration Medical Center.
