Jianshe Wu received his B.S. degree in theoretical physics (1992) from the Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in circuits and systems (2001) and pattern recognition and intelligence system (2007) from the Xidian University, Xi’an, China. He currently works as a Professor at the Institute of Intelligent Information Processing (IIIP) in the School of Electronic Engineering (SEE), Xidian University, China. Currently, he is a Visiting Scholar at the Information and System Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, USA. His main research interests lie in the areas of complex networks, information fusion, data mining, machine learning, and computational intelligence. As a Director, his research group is founded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (number 61072139) and several other foundations.
