Chao-Chun Yang is currently a clinical Associate Professor; he received his M.D. degree from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in 2015. After finishing resident training, he served as an Attending Physician at the Department of Dermatology, National Cheng Kung University Hospital, Tainan, Taiwan, since 2005. He did postdoctoral research in George Cotsarelis Lab, Albert Kligman Laboratory, and at the Department of Dermatology, University of Pennsylvania, USA, from 2008 to 2010. His clinical interests are hair diseases, scalp diseases, geriatric diseases, hereditary diseases, psoriasis, and vitiligo. His current research is focused on developing hair reconstitution assays using stem cell and bioengineering technology. He also studies the interaction between intradermal adipose tissue and hair biology and hair diseases. He has run a hair clinic for 13 years.
