S Venkata Mohan

Dr S Venkata Mohan got his B.Tech (Civil Engineering) degree in 1991, M.Tech (Environmental Engineering) in 1993 and PhD (Environmental Engineering) in 1998. He is working as Scientist in Indian Institute of Chemical Technology since 1998. Dr. Mohan's main research interests are in the field of Waste to energy encomposing Advanced waste remediation, Biohydrogen, Microbial Fuel Cells, Bio-electrochemical Treatment and algal lipids. So far he has published more than 175 articles in these areas. He is a fellow of Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation of Germany and worked as Visiting Professor, Kyoto University (2005). Dr Mohan’s was recipient of ‘Prosper.net-Scopus Young Researcher Award in Sustainable Development under Energy Category’ by United Nations University and Elsevier and ‘NASI-Scopus Young Scientist Award’ in Earth, Oceanographic & Environmental Sciences by NASI and Elsevier.
