Joel M. Esposito

Joel M. Esposito earned the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, USA, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (in 1999 and 2002, respectively) from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa, USA. He works as an Associate Professor in the Systems Engineering Department at the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md, USA, and currently serves as the Editor in Chief of the American Society of Engineering Education’s Computers in Education Journal. His research interests include multirobot coordination, motion planning, computational tools for motion control, and robotics pedagogy. He is the recipient of the Naval Academy’s 2010 R. A. Raouff Teaching Award.
