Emmanouil Lagoudianakis

Lagoudianakis E. Emmanuel was born on March 3, 1972, Crete, Greece, and obtained his M.D. degree from the Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessalonica, Greece. In 2008, he submitted his Ph.D. thesis entitled “ Prognostic significance of molecular detection of circulating cancer cells in colon cancer patients.” Dr. Lagoudianakis has been a Research Fellow at the Endocrine Surgery Department, 1st Propaedeutic Surgical Clinic, University of Athens, Hippokration Hospital, Athens, Greece, since 2007. Moreover, he is also a Consultant Surgeon at the 2nd Surgical Clinic, 417 NIMTS General Hospital, Athens, since August 2009. During the period from September 2006 till December 2007, he was the Head of the Surgical Department of the 80th Medical Battalion, Kos, Greece. He was also a resident general surgery at the 1st Propaedeutic Surgical Clinic, Hippokration Hospital, University of Athens, from 2004 till 2006. He also spent a month working as an Athlete physician at Soccer Venue in 12th Paraolympic Games, Athens, Greece. Dr. Lagoudianakis also worked as an Athlete physician at Beach Volley Venue in 28th Olympic Games, Athens, Greece, from July 2004 to September 2004. Furthermore, he was a resident in general surgery at 1st Propaedeutic Surgical Clinic and 2nd Surgical Clinic, Hippokration Hospital, University of Athens, from 2000 till 2004.
