Maria J. Lopez-Herrero received her Ph.D. degree from the University Autonoma of Madrid, Spain. Since 1987, she has been a Faculty Member at the School of Statistics, Complutense University of Madrid. Her research interests include queuing theory and telecommunication systems with an emphasis on retrial queues, matrix analytics, and maximum entropy methods.
