T. Hirano

T. Hirano was born on May 2, 1956, in Japan. He is a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, and a Visiting Professor of Tokyo Medical University. He received his B.Pharm., M.Pharm., and Ph.D. degrees from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, Japan, in 1979, 1981, and 1984, respectively. Moreover, he is a Member of the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology (Councilor), Japanese Society of Transplantation (Councilor), Japanese Society of Organ Biology and Preservation (Director, Councilor), and Japanese Society of Steroid Hormones (Councilor). His specific research fields include clinical pharmacology, personalized medicine, drug resistant mechanisms, organ transplantation, immunological disorders, and immunosuppressant pharmacodynamics.
