Marcos Raydan

Marcos Raydan obtained the Ph.D degree in computational and applied mathematics from Rice University, Houston, TX, USA, in 1991. Raydan works as a Full-Time Professor at the Scientific Computing and Statistic Department, Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas, Venezuela. Raydan’s areas of expertise include numerical linear algebra, numerical (large-scale) optimization, matrix analysis, and alternating projection methods.
