Donghua Liao

Donghua Liao received her Ph.D. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 1998. In 1998, she became a Lecturer at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Beijing University of Technology. Dr. Liao is currently an Associate Professor at Aarhus University (since 2007) and Senior Researcher in Aalborg Hospital (since2003). Her current research interests are soft tissue mechanical and modelling analysis, smooth muscle mechanical and function studies, 3-D gastrointestinal model reconstruction, finite element analysis, and image processing.
