jianming Liang
Jianming Liang was born in 1965 in Shanxi,
China. He received his B.S. degree in 1987
from the University of Science and Technology,
Beijing, China, M.S. degree in 1990
from the North China Institute of Computing
Technology, Beijing, China, and Ph.D.
degree in 2000 from the Turku Centre
for Computer Science, University of Turku,
Finland, all in computer science. He was an
NSERC Industrial Research Fellow (2001–
2002, NSERC: the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research
Council of Canada). Presently, he is with Siemens Medical Solutions
USA, Inc. in Malvern, Pa. His research interests include computer
vision, medical image analysis, optimization, probabilistic
reasoning, and software engineering.
