Abdullatif Ben-Nakhi serves as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Power and Refrigeration Technology, College of Technological Studies-PAAET in Kuwait. He received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio, USA, and his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Kuwait University, Kuwait. His research work focuses on numerical assessment of environmental control systems and energy systems in buildings and assessment of GHG mitigation options in energy sector. Currently, he is a Member of the Kuwait National Climate Change Committee (KNCCC), Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE), American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Kuwait Green Building Council (KGBC), and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
