Bi-Fong Lin received her B.S. degree from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, an M.S. degree from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA. She is a Professor at the Department of Biochemical Science and Technology, College of Life Science, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. She has conducted research majorly on diet, nutritional immunology, and health. She investigates the health promoting effects of dietary factors on immunomodulation, establishes screening systems for dietary factors exerting anti-inflammatory/immunomodulatory effectors, and participates in the Nutrition and Health Survey in Taiwan.
