Alexander Zimmermann

Alexander Zimmermann was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1964. He received the Doctoral degree in mathematics from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1992. From 1994 to 1996, he was a DFG Postdoc Fellow at the Université de Paris 7, France, and since September 1996, he has been a Faculty Member of the Université de Picardie in Amiens, France, where he became a Professor in 2004. His main interest is in representation theory of finite groups and finite-dimensional algebras, in particular in homological methods such as equivalences of stable, derived, and module categories.
