Paul J Oberholster

Paul J Oberholster serves as a Principal Scientist and Research Group Leader of the Water Ecosystems and Human Health group at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, South Africa. He holds a Ph.D. degree in water resource management. His Ph.D. dissertation title was “Monitoring toxicity in raw water of the Cache la Poudre River and Sheldon Lake, Colorado, USA, using biomarkers and molecular marker technology.” His research area of expertise is the field of impacts and stressors of anthropogenic pollution on the biodiversity of freshwater ecosystems which include rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
