Shigeyoshi Owa

Shigeyoshi Owa earned his D.S. degree in pure mathematics from Nihon University, Japan, in 1986. He works as a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Kinki University, Japan, since 1994. He has been also awarded with Honorary Professorship from Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, in 2002. He has earned Honorary Doctorate degree from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania, in 2007, and from University of Alba Iulia, Romania in 2009. He is one of the international leaders of Group for Geometric Function Theory and Applications (GFTA). He has also organized many international symposiums concerned with geometric function theory and applications. He is studying many fields in geometric function theory with mathematicians all over the world.
