Liming Cai

Liming Cai was born in 1973 in Xinyang, Henan, China. He received the M.S. and B.S. degrees from the Xinyang Normal University, Xinyang, China, in 1996 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in system engineering from Beijing Institute of Information Control, Beijing, China, in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Cai was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Academia Sinica, Beijing, China. Since 2003, he has been working at the Department of Mathematics, Xinyang Normal University, Xinyang, China. From 2005 to 2008, Cai was a Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Xinyang Normal University, Xinyang, China. Since 2008, he has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Xinyang Normal University. In 2009, he was selected into Training Program for University Key Teacher Foundation, and academic and technological leaders in the Education Department of Henan Province. Cai's research interests include mathematical biology, population dynamical systems, and parameters identification in biology. He is one of the main members at the Innovative research team in science and technology at the Henan Provincial University. Cai is the author or coauthor of more than 30 published international journal papers in mathematical biology.
