Jesús Canales-Vázquez is the Head of the Fuel Cell Department at the Albacete Renewable Energy Research Institute, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, since June 2006. He currently holds a Ramón y Cajal Fellowship. He got his B.S. degree in chemistry in 2000 at Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain) and his Ph.D. degree in chemistry as well in 2003 at the University of St Andrews, St Andrews, UK under the supervision of Professor John T.S. Irvine and Dr. Wuzong Zhou. His research interests cover electroceramics, solid oxide fuel cells, structural characterisation of materials by diffraction techniques and electron microscopy, and materials processing.
