Yiqian Wang holds a Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics. He is the Deputy Director at Key Laboratory of Photonic Materials and Technology, Universities of Shandong, Shandong, China. He is also the Head of the Department of Materials Physics, College of Physics, Qingdao University, Qingdao, China. His area of expertise includes microstructure and physical Properties of Perovskite Functional Materials and synthesis, microstructure, and properties of nanophotonic materials. His professional activities include lecturing the postgraduate students on high-resolution transmission electron microscopy at Materials Department, Imperial College London, UK (from October, 2006), supervising two Ph.D. students at the Department of Chemistry, University College Dublin, Ireland, and demonstrating for first year undergraduates (from October, 2005 to June, 2006). He acted as a Referee for Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Applied Physics from 2001, and also for Langmuir, Journal of Nanoparticle Research, Nanotechnology, Chemical Physics Letters, Current Nanoscience, Applied Physics A, Physica Scripta, International Journal of Physical Sciences, and African Journal of Biochemistry Research. In total, he has published more than 80 SCI papers, which has been cited by SCI papers for more than 1400 times.
