Jiecheng Chen

Jiecheng CHEN received his Ph-D degree in 1987 at Hangzhou University, China. Then, he got a Lecturer position during 1987-1990, an Associate Professor position during 1990-1992, and a Full Professor position during 1992-2011 in the Department of Mathematics of Zhejiang University (or Hangzhou University during 1987-1998. Note: the two universities were merged together in 1998). He also held positions of vice-chair (1992-1999), chair (1999-2002) of the Department of Mathematics, and vice-dean (1999-2009) of the College of Sciences, Zhejiang University. Now, he is a Distinguished Professor in Zhejiang Normal University. His main research interests: Harmonic Analysis on Euclidean Spaces and its Applications to PDEs, Laplacian Analysis on Manifolds and Lie Groups.
