Christof Rezk-Salama

Christof Rezk-Salama was born in 1970 in Borken, Germany. He has studied computer science at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. In 2002, he received a Ph.D. degree at the Computer Graphics Group in Erlangen as a scholarship holder at the graduate college "3D Image Analysis and Synthesis". From 2003 to 2009, he was working as Assistant Professor at the Computer Graphics Group at the University of Siegen, Siegen, Germany, where he gained his postdoctoral lecture qualification (habilitation) in computer science and computer graphics in June 2009. Since October 2009, he is working as a Full Professor at the game design department of the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany. Rezk-Salama is member of the international program committee of IEEE Visualization, EuroVis, and Pacific Visualization. The results of his research have been presented at international journals and conferences, including ACM SIGGRAPH, IEEE Visualization, and Eurographics. He is regularly holding lectures and courses on computer graphics, scientific visualization, game progamming, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
