Eiji Takeda

Eiji Takeda worked as a Clinical Fellow at the Department of Pediatrics, Tokushima University Hospital from March 1974 to September 1978. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Laboratory for Experimental Oncology, School of Medicine, Indiana University, Ind, USA from October 1978 to September 1980. From October 1980 to January 1992, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, The University of Tokushima and from February 1992 to March 2004 a Professor at the Department of Clinical Nutrition, School of Medicine, The University of Tokushima. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Clinical Nutrition, Institute of Health Biosciences, University of Tokushima Graduate School since April 2004. His academic research areas are clinical nutrition, nutritional metabolism, and prevention and treatment of stress- and lifestyle-related diseases by nutritional care and nutrigenomics and functional food development.
