Cecile Maziere

Cecile Maziere was born in Dong Quan, Viêt Nam, in 1947. She received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris VI, Paris, France, in 1980. From 1970 to 1997, she was Assistant Professor and then Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine Saint-Antoine, University of Paris VI. In 1997, she moved to the University of Jules Verne in Amiens and is a Professor in biochemistry and molecular biology since 2001. Mazière is a Member of the Amiens Hospital Committee for Clinical Research, the Scientific Council of the National Institute for Medical Research, and the French Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, France. She is a Reviewer for the following journals: Free Radical Biology and Medicine, Journal of Lipid Research, Neoplasia, Atherosclerosis, Biochimica and Biophysica Acta, FEBS Letters, Rheumatology, Antioxidants and Redox Signaling, Jounarl of Investigative Dermatology, Vascular Health and Risk Management, and Microvasc Research. The areas of expertise are concerned with lipoproteins, oxidized LDL, UVA, oxidative stress, and signaling.
