Surbamanyam R. Gollahalli

Subramanyam Gollahalli received his B. S. and M. E degrees in India and M. A. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees from the University of Waterloo in Canada. He has served on the faculties of the Indian Institute of Science, University of Waterloo, and currently holds Lesch Centennial Chair in the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma Professor Gollahalli’s research interests encompass fundamental as well as applied topics in Energy and Combustion fields. His publications include approximately 200 refereed articles in international journals and symposium proceedings. Professor Gollahalli is associated with several Professional and Honor Societies and serves on their technical committees. He is a fellow of ASME and an associate fellow of AIAA. He has received several honors that include Robert Angus Medal from CSME, Ralph Teetor Award from SAE, Energy Systems Award and Sustained Service Award from AIAA, Ralph James Award and George Westinghouse Gold medal from ASME. He has served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Energy Resources Technology and the Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power.
