Ananda Sanagavarapu Mohan
Ananda Sanagavarapu Mohan is currently a Member of the Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT) at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia, where he leads research on antennas, microwave imaging, wave propagation, and biomedical applications of wireless technology. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India and was a Scientist and Senior Scientist at the Research and Training Unit for Navigational Electronics, Hyderabad, India. At UTS, he directed the Sydney Microwave Design Resource Centre and was the Associate Program Leader of the Cooperative Research Centre for Satellite Systems. He is a Core Member of the University's Research Centre for Health Technologies and leads the Electromagnetics and Antenna Research group. His current teaching and research interests include wireless mobile communication channels, computational electromagnetics, smart antennas, microwave imaging and biomedical applications of microwave, and wireless technology, and he has obtained many competitive research grants in these areas. He was a Corecipient of the Priestly Memorial Award from the Institute of Radio and Electronic Engineers (IREE), Australia. He was the Past Chair of IEEE NSW joint AP/MTT chapter and has been a member of Organizing and Technical Program Committees of many international conferences.
