Dewen Dong

Dewen Dong was born in Chaoyang (Liaoning, China) in 1966. He graduated at Northeast Normal University (Jilin, China) in 1992 and then he received his Ph.D. degree from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 1999. Since 1999, he has been working as a Lecturer at Shizuoka University (Japan), and during the period from 2001 to 2003, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Hull, UK. He joined Northeast Normal University as a Professor in 2003 and transferred to Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. His research interests include the organic synthetic chemistry, organic/polymeric functionalized materials, organic-inorganic hybrid luminescent materials, and polymer chemistry and physics.
