Tofigh Allahviranloo

Tofigh Allahviranloo is the first holder of a Ph.D. degree in fuzzy applied mathematics, ranking number one in the Ph.D. examination, and he graduated with honors holding an M.S. degree in operational research. Allahviranloo became a Professor of applied mathematics (numerical analysis in fuzzy sets) at the age of 38 (fall 2010). He has published about 105 papers in international journals, and he also is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Industrial Mathematics. He is the Member of Editorial Board of Journal of Advanced Research in Fuzzy and Uncertain Systems, Journal of Applied Sciences, Asian Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Neural Computing and Applications, and Managing Committee of Iranian Fuzzy Systems Society. He is a Reviewer in the Journals of Fuzzy Sets and Systems (Elsevier), Information Science (Elsevier), Applied Mathematics Letters (Elsevier), European Journal of Operational Research (Elsevier), Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Iranian Journal of Fuzzy Systems, and others. He also became an Associate Professor of applied mathematics (numerical analysis) at the age of 35 (Fall 2006) and the Head of the Department of Mathematics Postgraduate Studies in science and research branch since 2005. He was an Adviser at Melli Bank (2004-2005) and at Ansar Cash (2005-2006).
