Shengbin Lei
Shengbin Lei received his M.S. degree in 1999 from the Department of Chemistry, Shandong University and his Ph.D. degree in 2002 in physical chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, under the supervision of Professor Chen Wang. After working for four years at the same institute in the field of surface assembly and scanning tunneling microscopy, he joined the group of Professor Steven De Feyter at KU Leuven as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working in the field of 2D nanoporous networks and host-guest chemistry. He joined HIT in September 2009 as a Professor. His current research focuses on 2D crystal engineering at interfaces and characterization of nanomaterials.
