Roslan Abd-Shukor obtained a Ph.D. degree in physics in 1991 from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR, USA. Currently, he serves as a Professor of physics at the National University of Malaysia, Malaysia. He specializes in high temperature superconductor tapes and ultrasonic studies on HTSC.
