Hsin-Yi Chen, M.D. degree holder, serves as Associate Professor of ophthalmology at the Medical College, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan, and is the Head of the Glaucoma and Neuro-Ophthalmology Section, Department of Ophthalmology, China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan. She obtained her M.D. degree from the Kaohsiung Medical University and finished her ophthalmology residency training at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She had overseas glaucoma fellowship training at Hiroshima University Hospital, Hiroshima, Japan, and Tokyo University Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. Her main areas of interest are glaucoma diagnosis, management, and ocular pharmacology. She has published several glaucoma OCT papers and epidemiology studies based on Chinese population. She also serves as scientific Reviewer for many ophthalmology journals.
