Robert J. Walker received his Ph.D. degree in 2003 from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Since July 2002, he has held a faculty position at the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada, where he currently works as an Associate Professor and runs the Laboratory for Software Modification Research. His research interests lie in software evolution and reuse, with a recent focus on pragmatic software reuse and large-scale statistical analyses of software systems. He has served on a variety of program committees including ACM OOPSLA, IEEE ICSM, and the International Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development. Walker has also served as a Referee for ACM TOSEM, IEEE TSE, Information Systems and Technology, and Software: Practice and Experience, as well as a Grant Reviewer for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research, and the Israel Science Foundation. He is an Associate Editor for ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology. Walker is a Member of the ACM, ACM SIGSOFT, IEEE, and IEEE Computer Society.
