Dr Compalati MD, PhD, graduated from Medical School at the University of Genoa, Italy and got specialty degree in Allergy and Clinical Immunology after recidency in Internal Medicine. His post-graduate experiences include a PhD-doctorate in Clinical-Experimental Allergy & Respiratory Physiopathology and a Master course in Immunotherapy of Allergic and Respiratory Diseases at the same University. He was visiting fellow at the department of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics of the McMaster University, ON, Canada. Currently he is clinician specialist in Allergy and Clinical Immunology and is reasearcher at Genoa University with main scientific interests in: allergen immunotherapy, pharmacotherapy of allergic diseases, evidence based medicine, systematic reviews and metodology of research and clinical trials applied to allergy and respiratory diseases. Since 2008 onwards, he has been member of the committee of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) for the Evidence Based Medicine.
