Ana Luísa Daniel-da-Silva

Ana Luísa Daniel-da-Silva has been serving as a Researcher at the Centre for Research in Ceramics and Composite Materials-CICECO (University of Aveiro) since 2009. She received her B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal) in 2000 and her Ph.D. degree with honors in materials science from the University of Alicante (Spain) in 2005. Her main scientific interests are centered on the development of nanostructured materials for biomedical applications, including magnetic nanoparticles and polymer-based nanocomposites. Her work has been published in SCI papers and she has been a regular referee for journals in the area of chemistry and materials science.
