Sebastien Incerti received his Ph.D. degree in hadronic physics in 1998 at Blaise Pascal University, Clermont-Ferrand, France. Since then, he has been based at the Centre d’Etudes Nucléaires de Bordeaux‐Gradignan (CENBG), Gradignan, France, where he is investigating the biological effects of ionizing radiation in several application domains, including medical physics and space science. He serves as Director of Research at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Paris, France, and the National Institute for Nuclear and Particle Physics (IN2P3), Paris, France. He is involved in the development of the open source Geant4 Monte Carlo toolkit (http://geant4.org) for the simulation of particle‐matter interactions. As such, he has been the Coordinator of the Low Energy Electromagnetic Physics Working Group of the Geant4 Collaboration and the Leader of the Geant4-DNA project since 2008 (http://geant4-dna.org).
