Nadia Lampiasi in 1984 obtained the B.S. degree in biological science from the University of Palermo, Italy (cum laude). In 1985, she had a fellowship from Regione Sicilia for two years at the Institute of Developmental Biology CNR, Palermo, Italy. In 1990, she worked on a fellowship from Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) for two years at the Institute of Developmental Biology, Palermo, Italy. In 1991, she qualified as a Biologist at the University of Palermo, Italy. In 1994, she became a Biologist at the Department of Maternity and Childhood, University of Palermo, Italy (until 1997). In 1996, she received a Ph.D. in the developmental and cellular biology at the University of Palermo, Italy. In 1997, he served as a Researcher at the CNR Institute of Bio-Medicine and Molecular Immunology of Palermo, Italy.
