Fengqi Song got his B.S. degree in nuclear physics in Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China, in 2000, and his Ph.D. degree on condensed matter physics in Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2005. His major was experimental cluster physics and nanotechnology. He visited Sydney University with the support of Endeavor Fellowship of Australia, where he focused on the quantitative scanning transmission microscopy and EELS of nanostructures for half a year. He then visited the University of Birmingham (UK) and Katholique University of Leuven (Belgium) as a Postdoc and Senior Postdoc Fellow for more than 1 year. In September 2009, he returned to Nanjing and began working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. His current interests include the quantum transport of topological insulator and graphene and the interaction between the atomic clusters and the Dirac systems.
