Milind V. Kirtane
Milind V. Kirtane received his M.S. degree in ENT from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India. He is a Consulting ENT Surgeon at P. D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, Breach Candy, Cumballa Hill, and Saifee hospitals, Mumbai. He is also a Hon. Surgeon at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Professor Emeritus at Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Kirtane has a special interest in cochlear implants, endoscopic sinus surgery, and neurotology. He was awarded the prestigious Dr.B.C.Roy award in 2005 by the President of India. He has about 50 publications in indexed journals and has authored books on otology and neurotology and endoscopic sinus surgery. He is Member and Ex-President of Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Founder President of the Sinus Endoscopic Society of India, and Founder Member of Indian Society of Otology and Indian Society of Laryngology. He also serves a Member and Joint Editor of Neurotological and Equilibriometric Society International and Member and Ex-President of Neurotological and Equilibriometric Society of India. He is also a Member of 4-G Forschung, Germany and American Rhinologic Society. Kirtane was the first member from India to be elected to the Barany Society, Sweden in 1983. He has been on the Editorial Board of the International Tinnitus Journal since 1996 and Associate Editor of the Archives for Sensology and Neurootology in Science and Practice (ASN).
