Yimin Zhang

Yimin Zhang received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan, in 1988. He joined the faculty of the Department of Radio Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1988. He served as a Technical Manager at the Communication Laboratory Japan, Kawasaki, Japan, from 1995 to 1997, and was a Visiting Researcher at ATR Adaptive Communications Research Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan, from 1997 to 1998. Since 1998, he has been with the Villanova University, where he is currently a Research Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Communications and the Director of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Lab. His research interests are in the areas of array signal processing, space-time adaptive processing, multiuser detection, MIMO systems, ad hoc and cooperative communications, blind signal processing, digital mobile communications, time-frequency analysis, and RFID systems. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
