Li G. Zhang is an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic Information and Control Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, and a Visiting Professor of System Group, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California, Berkeley. He received his Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent system from the Beijing University of Technology. During 2011, he was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Statistics and Modeling, University of Strathclyde. Dr. Zhang is the PI of many academic projects granted from NSFC and MOE of China on cyber-physical systems and CO-PI of the joint project granted from NSFC and RSE. His research interests include cyber-physical systems and intelligent transportation systems. He serves as Session Chair of hybrid and switched systems at WCICA 2009 and Reviewer for many academic journals including Automaica, IEEE Trans. AC, and IJCAS.
