Haisheng Qian

Haisheng Qian was born in 1976. He got his B.S. degree in chemistry at Anhui University, Hefei, China, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, under the supervision of Professor Shu-Hong YU (2006). Then, he moved to Nanyang Technological University (Singapore, 2006-2007) and the National University of Singapore (2007–2009) for his postdoctoral research. After that, he joined the Zhejiang Normal University as a faculty. Till now, he has (co)authored more than 50 peer international journal papers and 2 Chinese patents. Qian received the SCOPUS Young Researcher Award (2010) and the Excellent Doctoral Thesis Award of Anhui Province, China (2009) for his excellent performance in material science. Currently, his research interests are focused on synthesis and design of novel inorganic hybrid nanomaterials for application in biomedical, fuel cell, or photocatalysis.
