I have been working in the area of wood and polymer composites for over 10 years. I have expertise in physical and mechanical characterization and modeling of wood composite materials properties as well as formulation, experimental design, equipment selection and raw material selection for various bio-based composite materials. I have exceptional international research experience obtained through working in various universities and research institutes in the Iran and Canada, and am highly experienced in scientific publishing over 30 peer reviewed original research papers in major academic journals and editing/reviewing for various scientific publications. I also have excellent teaching skills and strategies obtained through teaching various academic courses for 6 years. Outstanding project management and supervisory skills obtained through carrying out research projects, and supervising graduate and undergraduate students’ research. In addition, I also have outstanding knowledge of and experience with various processing equipment (extruders, injection molders, K-mixers, internal mixers, etc.), mechanical testing devices, dynamic mechanical analyzers and thermal instruments as well as SEM, TEM,DSC,FTIR,XRD,..and advanced computer skills.
