Samuel E. Bennett
Samuel E. Bennett received a B.S. degree in chemistry, with emphasis on biochemistry, from the University of California San Diego in 1989 and a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry and biophysics from the Oregon State University in 1995. After serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, where he received the National Institutes of Health Fellows Committee Award for Research Excellence, he joined the Faculty of the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at the Oregon State University as an Assistant Professor and was then appointed as Senior Researcher in 2001. Dr. Bennett's research interests include DNA replication and repair, clinical and molecular toxicology, and metabolomic and proteomic applications of mass spectrometry.
