Shi Zixue received his B.S. degree from the College of Animal Science and Technology, Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities, China (1998-2003) and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the College of Animal Science and Veterinary Science, Jilin University, China (2003-2006) and (2006-2009), respectively. Since 2009, he has been working for Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute, CAAS. His research interests include main works on swine infectious diseases including classical swine fever virus, swine influenza, Japanese encephalitis, and so on. The research activities are as follows: mechanism of host innate immunity against virus infection, role of host protein in regulation of virus replication, epidemiology of classical swine fever virus, and development of diagnostic methods for infectious diseases.
